Michael Jackson. I was in Boston on the road with the Jackson’s Triumph tour. I went to Micael’s hotel room around sunset and found him alone reading fairy tales. I asked if he was interested in making photographs in the magic light. He wanted to know what magic light was and followed me up to the roof. While I was shooting, he took off his shirt. Until that moment he had been an innocent child in my eyes. I now saw a man there too.
