Lynn Goldsmith – LL Cool J 1997

Okay, we all know LL Cool J is cool, but remember when he won a grammy 17 years ago in 1997 for “Hey Lover”? Who would have thought that he would now be hosting the award show where he received his first and second grammy. How crazy to be up on stage in a reverse role!  Being a two time Grammy nominee and old-timer of the music industry, LL Cool J was again the ideal choice as the host of the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, right? He opened the show with a passionate speech that reminded the world why we all love music so much. Check out this awesome photograph taken by Lynn Goldsmith of LL Cool J in 1997 shortly after his seventh album, Phenomenon was released.
