Antoine Dufilho is a sculptor fascinated by the futurism and soaked by the love of automobile and the mechanical beauty. His Uncle, Jacques Dufilho, famous actor, and painter and sculptor, was his earliest influence.

In his sculptures, instead of representing a full and continuous “skin,” Dufilho exposes an alternation between full and empty; materializing a skeleton, and decomposing shapes into successive strata.

Thus creating an overall shape suggested by the vacuum, and providing a transparency and lightness to the whole sculpture. This allows for various forms to exist within one global shape.
