Maryanne Bilham, an award-winning photographer, has cultivated a poetic, arresting visual style that has won her artistic acclaim and commercial success. Best known for her work with world famous rock ‘n’ roll musicians, celebrities, high-end advertising campaigns as well as personal fine art gallery shows, the New Zealand-born, Las Vegas-based creative visualist blends an elegant pictorial sensibility with a gift for suggesting depths of feeling and emotional resonance below the surface image.
Bilham has created beautiful images– alive and provocative with spirituality and sensuality– for Carlos Santana, U2, Sheryl Crow, Cyndi Lauper, Heart, Garbage, Blondie, Brian Setzer, Zakk Wylde, Skinny Puppy, Slash, Jeff Beck, Carol King, KD Lang, Lisa Loeb, Courtney Love, Tommy Lee, Sammy Hagar, Chrissie Hynde and many others. Her images of guitar players hang in largerthan- life size outside of 200 Guitar Center music retailer centers around the U.S.
In May, 2010, Bilham and her husband, Robert Knight, a famed rock ‘n’ roll photographer founded the Knight Gallery in Las Vegas’ Hilton Hotel, where her photography will be on permanent exhibition.
Bilham’s work was featured in “Rock Prophecies,” a $1 million feature-length documentary based on Knight’s life, which is in rotation on 200 PBS television stations and is also available on Netflix.
